Large frog: Body

With A, wind yarn around finger to form a ring.
Rnd 1: 1ch (does not count as st throughout), 6dc in ring, ss in first dc. 6 sts
Rnd 2: 1ch, 2dc in each dc to end, ss in first dc. 12 sts
Rnd 3: 1ch, 1dc in same place as ss, (2dc in next dc, 1dc in next dc) five times, 2dc in last dc, ss in first dc. 18 sts
Rnd 4: 1ch, 1dc in same place as ss, 1dc in next dc, (2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 2 dc) five times, 2dc in last dc, ss in first dc. 24 sts
Rnd 5: 1ch, 1dc in same place as ss, 1dc in each of next 2dc, (2dc in next dc, 1dc in each of next 3dc) five times, 2dc in last dc, ss in first dc. 30 sts

With A, make 7ch.
Row 1: Miss 1ch, 1dc in each ch to end. 6 sts
Rows 2-11: 1ch, 1dc in each dc to end.
Shape toes
*7ch, miss 2ch, working into next 5ch: 1tr, 1htr, 1dc, 1htr, 1tr in fol 5ch, ss in next dc of main leg.
Repeat from * twice more. Fasten off.

Large frog: Eyes (work to the same)

With A, work as body to rnd 2. 12 sts
Rnd 3: 1ch, 1dc in each dc to end, ss in first dc.
Stuff.
Rnd 4: 1ch, (1dc2tog) to end. 6 sts
Fasten off.

Large frog: To make up

Seam legs. Sew sides of each toe. Bend leg and secure in place with a few stitches. Attach legs to body. Sew eye beads to the eyes using the cotton thread, then attach eyes to body. Embroider face with 4-ply brown yarn.

Smaller frog: Body

With B, work as large to rnd 4. 24 sts
Rnds 5-9: 1ch, 1dc in same place as ss, 1dc in each dc to end, ss in first dc.
Rnds 10-12: work as rnds12-14 of body of large.

Smaller frog: Legs (make two)

With B, work as large frog to row 11.
Shape toes
*5ch, miss 2ch, 1htr, 1dc, 1htr in fol 3ch, ss in next dc of main leg.
Repeat from * twice more.

Smaller frog: Eyes (make two)

With B, wind yarn around finger to form a ring.
Rnd 1: 1ch, 5dc in ring, ss in first dc. 5 sts
