Изготовление
Make four flower motifs (see Ñanduti flower motif).
With base colour connect four motifs with ch and ss, referring to diagram A. Make 3ch in corners of motif and 2ch in all other spaces between loops.
When motifs are joined, continue working ch and ss in each loop as set around the entire outside edge of new large square as shown in diagram A. Join with a ss in first ss and fasten off.
For the outer edge, join yarn in any corner loop ss, 5ch (counts as 1tr and 2ch), 1tr in next ch sp, (1ch, 1tr in next ch sp) to centre of square edge, 2ch, 1tr in ss where two squares meet, 2ch, 1tr in next ch sp, (1ch, 1tr in next ch sp) to corner loop, 2ch, 1tr in ss at corner loop, 2ch. Continue as set around square to end, referring to diagram B. Join with a ss in third of beginning 5ch. Fasten off.
With a protective cloth placed over the motifs, gently press flat with a steam iron. Spray starch if desired.
