Zigzag: step1
Start with yarn A finish with yarn A. crochet 10 rows on 33 foundation chains and follow the diagram for rest of the work. It will naturally take zigzag form.

Zigzag: step2
For the edging, sc with B yarn and stitch the zigzag pattern increasing or decreasing as you go.

Stripe: step1
Start with yarn A crochet 11 rows on 25 foundation chains and follow the diagram for rest of the work.

Do the edging in one color.
