Making
Making1

Place a sheet of heat-bonding double-sided nylon on the design patterns, and trace the patterns onto the sheet using a pencil.
The patterns must be drawn on the removable paper on the heat-bonding double-sided nylon sheet.
For the flower petal parts, trace patterns A and B three times to create three copies each.
Be sure to also trace the letters and numbers; for example, "A-1."
Iron-bond the sheet from ① to the back of the appliqué fabric.
See the design patterns to check which pattern should be bonded to which fabric.
Once the iron heat has cooled down completely, cut along the patterns.
Example of flower A petals Attach the heat-bonding double-sided nylon sheet with traced design patterns onto the back of each of the three pink-shaded fabric pieces (the same applies to flower B).
Making2

On top of the ironing board, place the flower layout diagram and then the heat-resistant appliqué mat. Next, in accordance with the layout diagram, place the petals from ② in the order from A-1 to 7 and B-1 to 7, after peeling off the release paper.
Place the colours of the petals and the centre of the flower as you like.
Make three flowers each for flower A and B, cover them with a protective ironing sheet, and then iron and bond them together.
Making3

Based on the layout diagram of the bag (see page 4), place the appliqué parts on the base fabric, starting with the stems and then the flowers, and iron and bond them in place.
When ironing over the parts where the appliqué parts are sticking out from the base fabric, be sure to place the heat-resistant appliqué mat underneath.
After ironing and bonding, wait until the heat completely cools down, and cut the appliqué parts that are sticking out of the base fabric.
Making4

If desired, use the sewing machine's decorative stitch feature to stitch along the outline of each part (see the image on the right).
Different types of decorative stitch are available, depending on the sewing machine used, so choose your favourite decorative design for stitching.
