Set the Tassel Maker(Small) to the finished size of 5cm. Wind the yarn around the tassel maker; 20 times gives a 40 stranded tassel but you can adjust the number of times to give a thinner or thicker tassel. Using another short piece of tassel yarn, tie a tight knot around the centre. Attach a jump ring(8 mm) alongside the tied knot as shown. Tie the centre of the tassel tightly.

Cut the tassel yarn at each end and remove it from the Tassel Maker. Fold it in half so the jump ring is positioned centrally and the knot is hidden under the fold. Make the tassels head using the same yarn. Trim and level the yarn ends.
