Materials
• DK yarn enough to make 1.72m of knitted cord
• 1.72m craft wire
Making
Set up the Wonder Knitter with pink disc (3pins).Thread 30cm of the yarn through centre of Wonder Knitter before casting on. Use 2 strands of DK together.Knit the cord using Wonder Knitter until you have a 1.72m length. Leave a tail of approx. 30cm before cutting the yarn end.

To finish:
Insert the 1.72m of craft wire through centre of knitted cord with front end of wire (A) doubled over by 2cm. When the cord has been fully wired, close off end (A) using the yarn tail threaded onto the darning needle and stitch securely to ensure wire does not pull through. Leave the other end (B) with 5cm of wire protruding through the knitted cord.
Print the crown template (page7 ).
Starting from A, form the crown shape following the marked lines and folding as shown in the diagrams.
To complete, join wire end B to the corner of crown.
Using the tail end of yarn and darning needle, stitch securely, concealing the wire.
Twist crown points and curve the band to fit head shape.
